![]() A PL with nothing but a diffusal isn't really that scary, his health pool would be low and is definitely killable. There are ways to deal with every hero in this game, it all comes down to your team composition and teams understanding of how the hero works, what his strengths and weaknesses are, and how to push back his item timings so that your team can end the game before he becomes a huge problem. Grimstoke can copy him with an aghs, but so can shadow demon without one who would be able to take the same aghs and have 3 charges of his ult which all apply break making it so he cannot generate illusions. Heroes like viper who have the ability to disable passives (PL has 2 of them), spirit breaker aghs, shadow demon aghs, lion shard (will insta kill 3 illusions), lion lvl 25 talent (hex instakills illu), heroes with large right click+cleave elements (gyro, sven, any melee core+magnus), etc. There are a lot of items that deal well with the illusions, your offlaner may want to build a crimson guard, which especially in the early-mid game makes his illusions hit for next to nothing outside of the mana burn. Your core, let's say a jugg, is going to want some form of tool to deal with illusions for example a maelstrom. That being said, there are all sorts of ways of dealing with a PL: ![]() Heroes like PL excel in the late game, so ending before he gets out of control is preferable.
